Did the coverage of American News, one of the country’s most popular “fake news” sites, favor either Trump or Clinton before the 2016 presidential election? Not really...
Sentiment analysis of more than 1,366 stories using sentiment analysis tools show the site’s stories tended to be mostly positive. The site, with more than 5 million facebook followers, wrote more stories about Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton, but President Trump’s stories tended to be slightly more positive.
